Frequently Asked Questions

Is the permit tied to the employer?
Yes. If you quit, your permit is usually cancelled. You need to find a new employer who will submit a new mediation letter for you.
Do I need experience?
For drivers, YES. At least 1 year of proven C+E experience is usually required by insurance companies. For construction, experience is preferred.
Can I swap to Blue Card?
Drivers and construction workers usually do not qualify for a Blue Card (High Skilled). This is a standard temporary residence permit.
