Frequently Asked Questions
Is accommodation free?
Usually yes, or heavily subsidized (e.g. 150 EUR/month deducted from salary) for
factory and construction jobs.
Can I work in Germany with a Polish visa?
Generally NO. You can be deployed ("delegation") by a Polish company for max 90
days under strict van der Elst rules, but you cannot just go and work there legally.
Is the language hard?
Yes, Polish is difficult. But in factories and construction, teams often speak
Ukrainian/Russian or English, so it is manageable.
