Frequently Asked Questions
Is Romania in Schengen?
Partially (Air/Sea). You can fly to other Schengen countries without border
control, but you CANNOT work there. Your permit is invalid for work outside Romania.
Can I run away?
We strongly advise against it. "Running" to Germany usually leads to deportation
and a ban. Legal work in Romania is safe and stable.
Is overtime paid?
Yes, construction sites often operate 6 days a week, and overtime is paid or
comped with free time.
